When Sonia came to me for a personal branding photoshoot, her goal was simple: to help clients feel like they already knew her before stepping into a session. She wanted photos that balanced professionalism with a friendly, approachable vibe – the kind of energy that makes you feel at ease right away.
Sonia offers counselling both in person and online, so her photos needed to speak to all kinds of clients. Semi formal, soft and relaxed– just like her. Her goal was to capture her personality and style in a way that instantly says, “You’re in the right place.”
We picked the Meadows show home by Urban Homes in Flagstaff as our location. The bright, inviting spaces were the perfect match for Sonia’s vibe. Between cozy corners and polished backdrops, we had plenty of options to create a mix of shots that felt natural yet professional.
Adding to the fun, Sonia’s husband popped in during the shoot to act as a client, helping create a few authentic, interactive moments. And the star of the day? Her adorable therapy dog, who also made an appearance. Since Sonia sometimes brings her dog to sessions to help clients feel more comfortable, it was a perfect touch to include this furry companion in the photos.
